SUBJECT:

Approval of the purchase of playground equipment for Maravilla Park from Miracle Recreation Equipment Company in the amount of $27,000.00, which was allocated in the 2014-15 CDBG Action Plan.

SUMMARY:

Staff would like to 'piggyback' on School District of Palm Beach County's Bid #2015-031 - Playground Equip, Surfacing, Shade Structures & Fitness Trails, TC # 10C-54B and hire Miracle Recreation Equipment Company to provide the playground equipment for Maravilla Park.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff requests the City Commission's approval to 'piggyback' off Palm Beach County School District's bid and contract with Miracle Recreation Equipment Company.

ALTERNATIVES:

Do not approve this request.
