SUBJECT:
Approve entering into a Professional Consulting Services Agreement with the International Municipal Lawyers Association, Inc. for the purpose of evaluating the efficiencies and associated costs of legal services provided by the City Attorney’s office for an amount not to exceed $7,500.00.
SUMMARY:
It was the consensus of the City Commission at previous meetings for the City Manager, with the assistance of the City Attorney, to obtain the services of a consultant for the above purposes.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends entering into an an agreement with IMLA for $7,500, contingent upon approval by City Attorney as to form and correctness.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
