SUBJECT:
Reduce Code Enforcement Lien in the amount of $178,750.00 against 436 N 7th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL previously owned by Pegue Beausejour, 436 N. 7th Street and currently owned by Cindi O'Connell, 420 N. 2nd Street to $1,000.00 contingent upon payment in 60 days.
SUMMARY:
Request by Cindi O'Connell to waive $177,750.00 leaving a balance of $1,000.00 due. The Code Enforcement Board recommends the Commission reduce the fines to $1,000.00 contingent upon payment within 60 days. Failure to pay within the 60 days, lien will revert back to the original amount of $177,750.00.
RECOMMENDATION:
This recommendation is based on:
1. The current owners have complied the violations.
2. The current owners have fixed up and improved many properties in the area.
3. The current owners want to improve the property and had a local business interested in expanding and renting the space.
