SUBJECT:
Approval of contribution from Law Enforcement Trust Fund to Zion's Daughters of Distinction Ministries, Inc. in the amount of $500.00.
SUMMARY:
The police department requests approval to contribute $500 from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund to the Zion's Daughters of Distinction Ministries, Inc. to support the Jewel's Program for youth.
According to Florida Statute 932.7055, the police department is required to spend 15% of Law Enforcement Trust Fund revenues each year in support of crime prevention activities. The aforementioned contribution will be applied to meet the obligation for FY2015 and provide meaningful support to community based activities. This expenditure meets the requirements of FLorida's Statute 932.7055.
