SUBJECT:
Approve contribution of $5,000 to the Fort Pierce Police Athletic League from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
SUMMARY:
According to Florida Statute 932.7055, the police department is required to spend 15% of Law Enforcement Trust Fund revenues from forfeitures and seizures each year in support of crime prevention activities. The requested contribution will be applied to meet the obligation for FY2015 and provide meaningful support to community based activities. This expenditure meets the requirements of Florida Statute 932.7055
