SUBJECT:
Approval to enter into a Lease/Purchase agreement with IBM to update the current IBM Power 7 to IBM Power 8 in the total amount of $59,493.24 paid over three (3) years.
SUMMARY:
The IBM Power 7 needs to be replaced due to aging problems and the limit of storage space. This is a three year lease/purchase with $4,957.77 to be paid in Fiscal Year 2015; $19,831.08 to be paid in Fiscal Year 2016; $19,831.08 to be paid in Fiscal Year 2017; and $14,873.31 to be paid in Fiscal Year 2018.
RECOMMENDATION:
To lease/purchase from IBM for three years.
