SUBJECT:
Approval of the FY 2016 Humane Society Contract in the amount of $125,000.00.
SUMMARY:
Approval of the annual contract with the Humane Society. Contract highlights include:
- Flat rate fee of $125,000 for up to 1000 animals.
- Any animal in excess of 100 will be charged $125.00 per animal.
- Kitten litters (8 weeks old or less) will count as a single animal.
- The Humane Society will provide monthly reports to verify animal count accuracy.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the proposed contract.
