SUBJECT:

Approve request to reduce Code Enforcement lien in the amount of $71,940.00, against 1810 Tucker Court, Fort Pierce, FL 34950 - Parcel ID Number 2409-712-0009-000/0, owned by Simon Castor, to $2,000.00, to be paid within 60 days.

SUMMARY:

  • Case initiated April 2009 against former owner Evodio Mondono.
  • Lien filed February 2010 against former owner Evodio Mondono.
  • Property purchased by Simon Castor via tax sale deed in 2018. $65.71 in overage funds applied to account.
  • Mr. Castor is resolving all liens on his properties to allow for redevelopment.
  • Mr. Castor offered $500.00 resolve lien, which was presented to the Special Magistrate.

RECOMMENDATION:

The Special Magistrate, having heard the request of the owner, and testimony of Staff, recommends reducing the lien in the amount of $71,940.00 to $2,000.00 payable in 60 days.
