SUBJECT:

Approval of Second Amendment to Agreement for Purchase and Development of Fisherman's Wharf to provide additional time to cure title and survey objections with a new deadline of March 1, 2023.

SUMMARY:

The City of Fort Pierce and Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency entered into an Agreement for the Purchase and Development of Fisherman’s Wharf with Pierce 1 Marina, LLC on August 16, 2021. The first amendment to further extend the deadline for the City to cure the title objections and survey objections was executed on March 21, 2022. The City now anticipates that it will need additional time beyond September 1, 2022 to cure the objections. This second amendment will extend the City's deadline to March 1, 2023.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve Second Amendment to Agreement for Purchase and Development of Fisherman's Wharf
