SUBJECT:
Authorize staff to enter into negotiations with GrayRobinson to provide Lobbyist Services as the only responsive bidder to RFP 2022-024.
SUMMARY:
For the past several years, the City of Fort Pierce has worked with St. Lucie County to provide representation of the City's legislative priorities and advance other interests of importance to the City at the state level. As a result of the County's decision to focus on its priorities and interests and the need for increased advocacy on behalf of the City at the state level, RFP 2022 024 State Lobbyist Services was issued on August 2, 2022. The date to submit a response to the RFP was August 30, 2022. The City received one (1) response to RFP 2022-024 State Lobbyist Services. The only submittal from GrayRobinson was deemed to be responsive and staff has reviewed the proposal and supporting documentation provided.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.

Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
