SUBJECT:

Legislative Hearing - Ordinance No. 22-026 amending the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan to change the designation of one (1) parcel generally located at  or near the south side of Graham Road and approximately 600 feet east of South Kings Highway from RL, Low Density Residential to GC, General Commercial.   FIRST READING

SUMMARY:

  • In accordance with Sections 125-37, 125-133, and 125-136 of the City Code and Chapter 163.3184, F.S., the applicant is requesting the review and approval of a Future Land Use Map Amendment from RL, Low Density Residential to GC, General Commercial for one (1) parcel of land. The applicant is also requesting review and approval of a Zoning Atlas Map Amendment (Rezoning) from R-1, Single-Family Low-Density Zone to CP-1, Commercial Parkway Zone.
     

RECOMMENDATION:

The requested Applications for Future Land Use Map Amendments meets the criteria specified in Section 121-136 of the City Code, the Comprehensive Plan, and does not adversely affect the public health, safety, convenience, and general welfare; Therefore, Staff recommends APPROVAL to the City Commission.
