SUBJECT:
Public Hearing and presentation on the Amended Citizen Participation Plan.
SUMMARY:
The Citizen Participation Plan provides for and encourages citizens to participate in the development of consolidated plans, performance reports, and fair housing assessments. These requirements are designed to encourage participation by low- and moderate-income persons. Amendments to plan include language to capture the Fair Housing Assessment requirement and participation with the Continuum of Care.
RECOMMENDATION:
Allow the presentation and public hearing for the amended Citizen Participation Plan.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff shall proceed as directed by the Commission.
