SUBJECT:
Award of Bid No. 2022-028, Fuel Dispensers Replacement, to Spactco Energy Solutions, LLC, Sunrise, FL, in the amount of $97,561.00.
SUMMARY:
The fuel dispensers located at the City Marina requires upgrading and to be compatible for a marine environment due to salt air. These enhancements will help us stay current technological trends and improve our customer experience.
Bid No. 2022-028 was advertised on September 8 and 15, 2022, with a scheduled opening on October 3, 2022. The bid invitation was sent to ninety-nine (99) vendors, eight (8) vendors requested specifications with three (3) responding.
Upon careful review of the three bids submitted, I have found the lowest bid is actually Spactco Energy Solutions, LLC in the amount of $97,561.00 after removing the sales tax that they had originally included in their bid. Accordingly, Petroleum Marine Construction total is actually $104,675 after including the addendum item of $8,500 to his bid of $96,175.00. Wilson's Petroleum Equipment, INC. is the highest bid at $106,291.00.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is my recommendation to award the Bid No. 2022-028, Fuel Dispenser Replacement at the City Marina, to the lowest bidder, Spactco Energy Solutions, LLC, in the amount of $97,561.00.

Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
