SUBJECT:
Resolution No. 23-R07 Authorizing the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four Hardscape Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement for Orange Avenue (S.R. 68) from North 32nd Street to US 1 (S.R. 5).
SUMMARY:
The Florida Department of Transportation will be resurfacing Orange Avenue (S.R. 68) in Fort Pierce from N 32nd Street to west of US 1 (S.R.5). The City requested certain improvements be made within the Right-of-Way of Orange Avenue.
This Agreement will supersede a portion of the original Highway Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement dated April 13, 2000. The City will continue to maintain medians and areas on Orange Avenue that contain stamped/colored asphalt, and brick/concrete pavers.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the attached Agreement and Resolution.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval of the Hardscape Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement, recommend signing the Agreement and the attached Resolution.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not sign the Agreement.
