SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 23-009 An Application for Annexation of a parcel of land approximately 28.12 acres, located north of Orange Avenue and east of N Jenkins Road - FIRST READING
SUMMARY:
The annexation of this parcel, associated with an additional, contiguous 4 parcels which are subject to separate application for annexation, and which will constitute the ‘West Orange’ development project, was recommended for approval by the Planning Board at their August 8th, 2022, meeting. Parcel ID: 2407-221-0001-000-1.
RECOMMENDATION:
As proposed, the annexation meets the standards of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, specifically Policy Section 1.11 regarding annexations. Therefore, staff recommendation is for the City Commission to approve the proposed Annexation.
