SUBJECT:

Approval of PRP Construction Group, LLC Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $219,129.93, providing compensation for FPUA utility work; total amount will be reimbursed to the City from FPUA.

SUMMARY:

The Beach Court Roadway project includes grading, paving, drainage, and street lighting improvements between Florida Avenue and Delaware Avenue.  After the award of the construction bid to PRP, FPUA reached out to engineering staff to inquire about utilizing the City's contractor for the construction of a new 6" water main, water services, and upgrades to the sanitary sewer services within the limits of the roadway construction project.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.
