SUBJECT:
Approval to piggyback St. Lucie County Contract C19-02-162 with TRP Construction Group, LLC to install new pavement striping and markings on Okeechobee Road from Hartman Road to 17th Street in the amount of $69,583.72.
SUMMARY:
The attached proposal from TRP Construction Group is for the restriping of Okeechobee Road from Hartman Road to 17th Street. Staff has coordinated with St. Lucie County to "piggyback" on their existing pavement markings contract.
The Capital Improvement Program budget includes an annual pavement markings item with a budget of $50,000. Staff is requesting approval of a budget increase in the amount of $19,583.72 to complete the restriping work on Okeechobee Road.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of increasing the Annual Pavement Markings budget from $50,000 to $69,583.72 and award of the Pavement Markings contract to TRP Construction Group, LLC in the amount of $69,583.72.
The Purchasing Division has reviewed and investigated the procurement process for this item and found all terns and conditions meet the piggyback requirements of the City of Fort Pierce.
