SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 23-008 An Application for Annexation of four parcel of land approximately 56.67 acres, located north of Orange Avenue and east of N Jenkins Road - SECOND READING
SUMMARY:
The annexation of these 4 parcels, associated with an additional, contiguous parcel which is subject to separate application for annexation, and which will constitute the ‘West Orange’ development project, was recommended for approval by the Planning Board at their August 8th, 2022, meeting. Parcel ID(s): 2407-241-0001-000-3, 2407-231-0000-000-5, 2407-212-0001-000-3 and 2407-211-0001-000-0.
RECOMMENDATION:
As proposed, the annexation meets the standards of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, specifically Policy Section 1.11 regarding annexations. Therefore, staff recommendation is for the City Commission to approve the proposed Annexation
