SUBJECT:
Approve Change order for PO 221317 The Pete Store, Fort Pierce, FL in an amount not to exceed $66,349.00.
SUMMARY:
The Public Works Department is seeking approval to increase purchase order 221317, The Pete Store, Fort Pierce, FL in the amount of $66,349.00. This purchase was approved by Commission on January 3, 2022, for 9- new Solid Waste refuse collection vehicles. Since that time there has been significant price increases due to rising costs nationwide. The additional monies are needed to cover the cost of the 9th vehicle.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Public Works Department recommends approval of the requested change order.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the Commission.
