SUBJECT:

Approval of Service Agreement for Bid No. 2023-035, Ohio Avenue (US 1 to 11th Street) Roadway Reconstruction, to PRP Construction Group LLC, Indiantown, FL in the amount of $2,486,699.50

SUMMARY:

At the June 05, 2023, City Commission meeting, Comission awarded the subject bid to PRP Construction Group, LLC, for the Ohio Avenue Roadway Improvements, located between U.S. Highway 1 and 11th Street in Fort Pierce, Florida.  The work associated with this project consists of roadway reconstruction to include sidewalks, curbs, driveway aprons, drainage, water distribution system, sanitary sewer construction, landscaping, and irrigation.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval

OTHER INFORMATION:

The initial construction cost of $2,486,699.50 shall be funded from Surtax proceeds, Account No. 114-1111-563-100, with subsequent FPUA reimbursement in the amount of $804,326.50 to follow. The Final Surtax funding of $1,682,373.00 after FPUA reimbursement.
