SUBJECT:
Approval to award Specific Authorization #2 for RFQ 2019-027 to Stantec for professional engineering design services for the 11th Street, Boston Avenue, and Preston Court roadway improvement project in an amount not to exceed $199,482.85.
SUMMARY:
The City has requested a scope and fee proposal from Stantec for professional engineering design services for the 11th Street, Boston Avenue and Preston Court roadway improvement project. Stantec was selected as a continuing services professional engineer with RFQ 2019-027. This would be Specific Authorization #2 for Stantec under this contract.
The project proposes to reconstruct the existing roadways, new curb and gutter and driveways, new sidewalk, and drainage improvements. The project includes 11th Street from Boston Avenue to Orange Avenue, Boston Avenue from 13th Street to 10th Street, and Preston Court from Boston Avenue to Delaware Avenue.
On October 2, 2023 the City Commission approved the assignment of the Continuing Services Contract with Cardno to Stantec.
