SUBJECT:

Approve the purchase of streetlights and associated streetlighting materials from FPUA at a cost of $200,000.00 to be utilized within the limits of the Ohio Avenue Roadway Reconstruction project extending between U.S. Highway 1 and 11th Street.

SUMMARY:

The Ohio Avenue Roadway Reconstruction project includes the installation of fifty-three streetlights and associated pullboxes and conduit.  The project contractor, PRP Construction, will provide the labor to install all conduit and pullboxes while FPUA will provide all materials and the subsequent streetlight installation for the project at a cost not to exceed $200,000.00.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

Deny and purchase the materials from another supplier.
