SUBJECT:

RFP 2023-023 Disposal of Surplus Property – 515 Douglas Court

SUMMARY:

The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at 515 Douglas Court, identified by Parcel ID: 2409-501-0096-000-8, with a legal description of: LINCOLN PARK NO 2 BLK 3 LOT 28 (OR 4080-2366). The property was declared surplus by the Fort Pierce City Commission on January 19, 2021, via Resolution 21-R10. Request for Proposals (RFP) number 2023-023 was issued on February 3, 2023. The invitation was sent to 518 vendors. Five (5) vendors requested specifications with one (1) responding.
City staff evaluated the responses cumulatively as follows:

RECOMMENDATION:

In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), staff recommends the Planning Board review the request and forward a recommendation to the City Commission for approval of the sale of real property located at 515 Douglas Court, identified by Parcel ID: 2409-501-0096-000-8, with a legal description of: LINCOLN PARK NO 2 BLK 3 LOT 28 (OR 4080-2366) to Progression Properties, LLC pending receipt of 10% percent security deposit.

ALTERNATIVES:

Do not recommend approval.
