SUBJECT:
Approval of request by Cynthia G. Angelos, Esq. for a waiver of potential conflict of interest due to her prior representation of the City of Fort Pierce.
SUMMARY:
In accordance with the Rules of Ethics of the Florida Bar, Cynthia G. Angelos, Esq., requests the waiver of a potential conflict of interest with respect to representing Joseph Miller and Cypress Knee, LLC in legal matters involving or adverse to the City. Ms. Angelos previously represented the City of Fort Pierce in the case of Australian Properties, LLC v. City of Fort Pierce in 2011 and 2012.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
