SUBJECT:
Fort Pierce Infrastructure Surtax Citizens Oversight Committee Annual Report 2023
SUMMARY:
As a result of the November 2018 passage of the Infrastructure Surtax, the City of Fort Pierce, via Resolution Number 19-R06 appointed seven citizens to the Fort Pierce Infrastructure Surtax Citizens Oversight Committee. The mission of the Committee is to determine that all Surtax proceeds received by the City are expended in a manner consistent with Florida Statute Section 202.155 (2) and with the final ballot language of the referendum.
Staff provides regular updates to the Committee and prepares an Annual Report for their review and approval.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends City Commission Acceptance of the Fort Pierce Infrastructure Surtax Citizens Oversight Committee Annual Report 2023.
