SUBJECT:
Award RFP 2024-009 for Disposal of Surplus Property, 706 N. 20th Street, to the highest responsive bidder, Sunrise City Concrete Services, Inc., and authorize staff to enter into negotiations for the sale of the property.
SUMMARY:
The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at 706 N 20th St, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-715-0019-000-7, with a legal description of: AMENDED PLAT OF WASHINGTON HEIGHTS ADDN LOT 17. The property was declared surplus by the Fort Pierce City Commission on April 19, 2021, via Resolution 21-R18. Request for Proposal (RFP) number 2023-020 was issued on October 27, 2023. The invitation was sent to 455 vendors. Four (4) vendors requested specifications with two (2) responding.
City staff evaluated the responses cumulatively as follows:
In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), the Planning Board reviewed the request and forwarded a recommendation to the City Commission for approval of the sale of real property located at 706 N 20th St, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-715-0019-000-7, with a legal description of: AMENDED PLAT OF WASHINGTON HEIGHTS ADDN LOT 17 to Sunrise City Concrete Services, Inc.
