SUBJECT:
Resolution 24-R30 approving the execution of the Termination and Release of an easement held by the City of Fort Pierce for the use and benefit of the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) which is no longer needed by FPUA.
SUMMARY:
The FPUA was granted the Blue Sky Landing Utility Easement in 2022. That easement made a portion of a previously granted 2008 Easement related to a force main unnecessary and duplicative. The FPUA has approved the Termination and Release of the easement. City approval is required as the easement is in the name of the City for the use and benefit of the FPUA.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff will proceed as directed.
