SUBJECT:
Approval of first amendment with Marlin Engineering as part of RFQ 2019-027 for Professional Engineering Continuing Services to include updated insurance and legal requirements.
SUMMARY:
Recent reviews of the City's Continuing Professional Engineering Service Contracts (RFQ 2019-027) noted that updates were needed to Insurance, Idemnification, and E-Verify sections of the original contracts. Staff has updated all of the contracts with this one for Marlin Engineering being the final one.
Staff has coordinated with Marlin Engineering and the First Amendment has been signed by their President.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval and authorization for the Mayor to sign the First Amendment
ALTERNATIVES:
The City will be unable to utilize this contract without the updated requirements.
