SUBJECT:
Approval of Amended Continuing Contract for Professional Architectural Services to Don Bergman Architecture, LLC of Fort Pierce, FL pursuant to RFQ No. 2024-005.
SUMMARY:
During the City Commission meeting on February 20, 2024, RFQ No. 2024-005 was awarded to multiple firms, designating them as the City's Miscellaneous Professional Continuing Services providers. These firms, which are licensed professional consultants, will deliver services in the fields of Architecture, Environmental Services, Engineering, Hydrogeology, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Planning.
Operating under the regulations established in Chapter 287.055 of the Florida Statues, known as the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), these firms will provide advisory services, technical investigations, analyses, designs, and other professional services to support various city departments. The initial term of the contract is one (1) year, with the possibility of three (3) additional one-year renewals.
The Continuing Contract for Professional Architectural Services with Don Bergman Architecture, LLC was approved on the consent agenda at the July 15, 2024 City Commission Meeting. This agreement has been amended to fit the template provided by the City Attorney's Office and includes special language acknowledging the procedural history.
