SUBJECT:
Resolution 24-05 addressing a request for an extension to comply with the terms of the Surplus Property Sale Agreement for 612 N 25th Street.
SUMMARY:
On November 14, 2023, pursuant to FPRA Resolution No. 23-05, an Agreement was entered into for the sale of real property located at 612 North 25th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947. The Agreement included a Development Timeline requiring the Grantee to develop a neighborhood park named Village Garden of Hope.
As per the Development Timeline section of the Agreement, the Grantee was required to apply for all necessary approvals, building permits, and other required permits within 180 calendar days of the conveyance of title. However, the Grantee failed to meet this deadline and has requested a 120-day extension to fulfill these requirements. If granted, the new deadline for obtaining these approvals would be December 18, 2024.
