SUBJECT:
Approval of Change Order No. 9 to General Contractor Services-Highway Museum in an amount not to exceed $9,130.31 for the City of Fort Pierce Florida Highwaymen Museum renovation project.
SUMMARY:
The initial budget for the installation of enhanced lighting was $7,500. Upon finalizing the project design, which included replacing inoperable exterior lighting and upgrading lighting to support the museum's proposed security enhancements, the budget was revised to $15,000.91. However, the subcontractor's bid came in at $28,540.22, reflecting an increase of $9,130.31.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of Changer Order No.9 to General Contractor Services-Highway Museum in an amount not to exceed $9,130.31 to install improved interior and exterior lighting.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the FPRA Board.
