SUBJECT:
Reduce code enforcement fines in the amount of $61,830.00 against 1708 Francis Court; previously owned by Bruce F. Arnold Jr., 1512 White Hall Dr., #306, Plantation, FL 33324 and currently owned by Bruce F. Arnold, Sr., 245 Meadowlark Lane, Sandpoint, ID 83864 to $1,600.00 payable at closing.
SUMMARY:
BACKGROUND:
The violations and lien were placed on Bruce F. Arnold Jr., who then transferred the property to his father Bruce F. Arnold, Sr. without revealing the existence of the fines. In 2015 Mr. Gary Vandenbos, a neighbor, became interested in purchasing the property and did a lien search that revealed the lien to Mr. Arnold Sr.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Code Enforcement Board heard the lien reduction request and recommends that the City Commission reduce the lien to $1,600.00 payable at closing.
