SUBJECT:
Approval of contract award in the amount of $35,395.00 to Lynch Paving and Construction, Bid #2016-016, to Resurface Dan McCarty Track.
SUMMARY:
City Commission approved Interlocal Agmt w/SLC School District to resurface Dan McCarty Track on 3/7/16. Commission approved Continuing Services Contract w/Lynch Paving & Construction Company, Inc. on 2/1/16 - Bid #2016-016. Lynch Paving & Construction quote for this project is $35,395.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the quote from Lynch Paving and Construction, Inc. to resurface and stripe Dan McCarty Track.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the quote to resurface the track.

$23,000 was allocated in the 2014-2015 CDBG Action Plan for this project.
The City of Fort Pierce will pay $23,000 of the $35,395 required to resurface and stripe the Dan McCarty Track. The
SLC School District will pay the balance ($12,395) and cover the costs to replace 8 existing lights with LED lighting. The City's portion of this expenditure will be reimbursed to the City via 2014-2015 CDBG.
