SUBJECT:
Approve award of RFP#2016-08, Auditing Services, to the first ranked firm of DiBartolomeo, McBee, Hartley & Barnes.
SUMMARY:
The City’s Finance Department solicited proposals for auditing services for fiscal years 2016-2018 from several accounting firms and received responses from nine.
An evaluation committee performed an extensive review of each of the proposals. Submitted are the top three (3) ranked firms, with the committees' recommendation. As a result of this review, the recommendation is that the award be given granted to the proposal which complies with the terms of the specifications and provides the most favorable conditions for the City of Fort Pierce and the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority; which was from DiBartolomeo, McBee, Hartley & Barnes.

RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission awards the RFP for auditing services to the top ranked firm, DiBartolomeo, McBee, Hartley & Barnes.
ALTERNATIVES:
Deny the request and go with the second or third ranked firm.
