SUBJECT:
Approval to create a blanket purchase order in an amount not to exceed $16,319.75 to secure bulletproof vest for its officers through the Department of Justice Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) program.

| The Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) program is a US Department of Justice grant that covers 50% of the cost for bullet resistant body armor for Officers. The $16,319.75 P.O. request represents the BVP funding amount of $8,227.49, plus the 50% match of $8,227.49. The Department of Justice will award funding to cover 50% of the cost of the project with the City of Ft. Pierce providing the required 50% match. |
