SUBJECT:
Approve grant award for Phatz Chick-N-Shack in the amount of $3,000 as an eligible recipient under the 2015-2016 CDBG Action Plan-Grant Award for Small Business.
SUMMARY:
CDBG funds are allocated for business grants for owners who attend two (2) small business workshops to purchase items to improve capacity and sustainability. Mr. Antoine Barber attended workshops 11/18/15 and 5/18/16 and applied for grant to help cover the costs of a new grease trap.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve grant award for $3,000 for Phatz Chick-N-Shack to help cover the cost of a new grease trap.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the grant award.
