Approval of a Professional Services Agreement with Cross Spectrum Acoustics, Inc., to serve as the Acoustic Consultant to conduct a noise analysis and identify noise contours in specified areas of the City, for an amount not to exceed $83,314.00.

During the City Commission's regular meeting on November 6, 2023, the Commission approved the initiation of contract negotiations between the City and Cross-Spectrum Acoustics, Inc. This contract will involve the development of standards for measuring and enforcing sound limits. These sound standards will be partially based on existing sound levels, which will be evaluated using noise contours. The study will include several components: a review of the City's Municipal Code, a citywide analysis of sound activity, and the establishment of objective measures for both overall sound limits and low-frequency sound limits.
