SUBJECT:
Approve recommendation from the Arts and Culture Advisory Board seeking approval of the purchase of four (4) Anita Prentice mosaic benches utilizing Arts in Public Places funds for the Highwaymen Museum in an amount not to exceed $12,000.
SUMMARY:
The Arts and Culture Advisory Board seeks approval for the purchase of four mosaic benches, designed by artist Anita Prentis, at a cost not to exceed $12,000. These benches will be installed at the Highwaymen Museum as part of the exterior site plan, which includes the creation of a scenic paver garden complemented by seating.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval ofthe Arts and Culture Advisory Board recommendation.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
