SUBJECT:
Approval of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) FY23 JAG - Countywide Grant Award Agreement in the amount of $34,041.67
SUMMARY:
The department has tentatively been awarded funding through FDLE for C-6N157: CID Technology Enhancements. The award amount is $34,041.67. Accepting the award requires the approval of the "Award Agreement" with the Mayor's signature.
This is a non-matching grant that will fund Law Enforcement technology expenses, specifically equipment needed for the Department's Criminal Investigations Division (CID). This technology will improve the efficiency of the CID Detectives.
The City Attorney's Office has approved the document regarding form and correctness.
