SUBJECT:

Resolution 25-R50 approving a Stormwater and Drainage Utilities Easement from the City of Fort Pierce for the use and benefit of the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority to Kings Landing FT Pierce LLC for the Villas at King's Landing. 

SUMMARY:

The City approved the sale of the Villas property portion along A.E. Backus Avenue of the King's Landing Development (the "Villas Plat Property") from Audubon Development, Inc. ("Audubon") to Kings Landing FT Pierce LLC (the "Villas Plat Owner") via Resolution No. 25-R05. The approved site plan for the Villas Plat Property described and contains a 10-foot stormwater and drainage utility easement on a parcel owned by the City for the use and benefit of the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (the “FPUA”) to service the stormwater and drainage needs for the Villas Plat Property (the "Easement"). The Villas Plat Owner has requested the Easement from the City and the FPUA. The FPUA reviewed, considered, and approved the Easement at their July 15, 2025 FPUA Board meeting. 

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff will proceed as directed.
