SUBJECT:

Approval of expenditure for Blanket Purchase Orders for the Police Department for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 in the total budgeted amount of $723,850.

SUMMARY:

The Police Department is requesting approval of Blanket Purchase Orders for FY 2025-2026. These vendors were chosen for their ability to deliver the needed materials and services in the most timely and cost-efficient manner. Please see the attached list for amounts and descriptions of the requested vendors. 

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval to allow for efficient fiscal operations within the Police Department. 

ALTERNATIVES:

The alternative would be to issue purchase orders and/or paperless requisitions for every purchase, which would be very time-consuming and lead to inefficiencies.
