SUBJECT:
Approval of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) JAG-Countywide Grant award (JG205) in the amount of $28,133.67 to purchase desktop computers for the department.
SUMMARY:
The department has been tentatively awarded FDLE funding for JG205 - JAG Countywide Grant in the amount of $28,133.67. These funds are to purchase much-needed desktop computers for the department to replace the old and outdated ones currently being used.
Accepting the award requires the approval of the "Award Agreement" with the Mayor's signature. We are aware that the City Manager is the Chief Executive, however, FDLE requires the Mayor's signature on the award document.
This grant is 100% reimbursable for expenses and does not require a local match.
The City Attorney's Office has approved the document regarding form and correctness.
