SUBJECT:
Approval to Award RFP 2026-007 for Floodplain Services and Inspection Services Software for a three (3) year plan to Forerunner, Inc. of Sanfranciso, CA in the amount of $153,108.00, with two one-year renewals in the amount of $51,036.00 per year.
SUMMARY:
In order to provide excellent service, the Building Department offered RFP 2026-007, which was sent to 1022 vendors. Thirteen (13) vendors requested specifications with two (2) responding (15.38%) 0 "NO Bids" (15.38%) total responses. The selection meeting date was December 5, 2025. One submittal was received and evaluated. The selection committee evaluated each bid and considered the following: experience and ability of the firm; Facilities, equipment, capabilities; Quality of product compared to others in the marketplace; Past performance of the primary firm; Willingness to meet time and budget; Price; and Location. Forefunner, Inc. of San Francisco, CA achieved a total of 295 out of 300 points.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval to award RFP 2026-007 to Forerunner for a three (3) year term.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve at t his time.
