Approval  to award Bid No. 2026-013 for SHIP Residential Rehabilitation for 2300 San Marcos Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL to DMS Contractors, LLC, for an amount not to exceed $69,882.10.

On October 23, 2025, the Purchasing Division received specifications to go out for bid on the above subject bid. The bid was advertised on November 11 and November 18, 2025, with a scheduled opening at 3:30 PM on December 1, 2025. The invitation was sent to 681 vendors. Thirteen (13) vendors requested specifications with six (6) responding (46.15%) plus 0 “No Bid” (46.15% total response).

Please Note:  Burch Construction deemed non-responsive due to their failure to provide the required proof of insurance as outlined in Item No. 11, Section III – Instructions to Bidder’s, of the Bid Document.

Staff recommends approval of Bid No. 2026-013 — SHIP Residential Rehabilitation of 2300 San Marcos Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL, awarding the project to DMS Contractors, LLC,  Dania Beach, FL, the lowest and most responsive responsible bidder in an amount not to exceed $69,882.10.

Award to alternative bidders or request new bids.
