Approval of the updated revision of the Interlocal Agreement (ILA) for the Everbridge System, implemented locally as "ALERT St. Lucie"
SUMMARY:
The Fort Pierce Police Department is requesting approval of the revised Interlocal Agreement for the Everbridge System. The revision establishes the framework for how the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, St. Lucie County Fire District, and the Cities of Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie will utilize the Everbridge mass notification system. RECOMMENDATION:
Fort Pierce Police Department staff recommends approval of this revised Interlocal Agreement for the Everbridge System.
ALTERNATIVES:
The alternative is to deny the approval of this revised Interlocal Agreement for the Everbridge System, which would hinder our Police Department's ability to send our mass emergency notifications.
