SUBJECT:

Ordinance 17-004 Modifying Chapter 9, Peddlers, Solicitors and Canvassers  FIRST READING

SUMMARY:

The City Commission adopted a new vendor ordinance in 2014.   At that time, staff was asked to monitor the ordinance and effectiveness and bring any necessary changes back to the Commission at some point in the future.   Staff has determined that a few modifications would be helpful in enforcing the provisions of the ordinance.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve Ordinance 17-004

ALTERNATIVES:

Do not adopt or adopt with changes.
