SUBJECT:
Approval of concept and an interlocal agreement between St. Lucie County and the City of Fort Pierce for the lease of office space in the Parking Garage for utilization by the Guardian Ad Litem Program.
SUMMARY:
The current lease for office space for the Guardian Ad Litem Program expires soon. St. Lucie County has expressed an interest in leasing 9,000 square feet in the parking garage and would be responsible for the build-out and office arrangement for the Guardian Ad Litem Program.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approving the concept and drafting an interlocal agreement with St. Lucie County for the City Commission's consideration and approval.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
