SUBJECT:
Approval to spend $16,081.18 to replace engine wiring harness and chassis wiring harness due to fire damage on Solid Waste Front Loader Vehicle #24-018.
SUMMARY:
The Public Works Department seeks approval for Nextran Corporation to repair Solid Waste Front Loader Vehicle 24-018, for an amount not to exceed $16,081.18. Nextran Corporation is the original manufacturer of harnesses and the authorized repair facility in Florida.
The operation of this vehicle is essential to this Department and the expedited repair is necessary to continue to provide the level of service the Community has come to expect.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Public Works Department is recommending approval of the requested expenditure to replace the engine wiring harness and the chassis wiring harness for the Solid Waste Frontloader.
