SUBJECT:
Approve request of Circle of Life Educational Center, Inc., DBA Club Utilitas, to allow them to sub-lease the building located at 1002 Avenue L to Green Shoots Academy, for the purpose of operating a child care, preschool and VPK. City Commission approval is required under the terms of their lease with the City of Fort Pierce.
SUMMARY:
The City of Fort Pierce leased property located at 1002 Avenue L to Club Utilitas, Inc. via leased dated October 20, 1986. Under the terms of the lease in Section 6, any sublease is required to be approved by the City Commission.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the request to sublease the facility to Family First Services, DBA Green Shoots Academy.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the request.
