SUBJECT:
Approve small business grant award for Ms. Patricia Adams for her small business, Patricia B. Adams, in the amount of $3,000 as an eligible recipient under the 2015-2016 CDBG Action Plan - Grant Award for Small Business.
SUMMARY:
2015-16 CDBG provides funding for small business owners who attend two (2) workshops to purchase items to improve business capacity and sustainability. Ms. Adams attended workshops 11/16/16 & 2/15 and applied for rant to purchase equipment & supplies for her business.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve $3,000 grant award for Ms. Patricia Adams to purchase equipment for her business.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve grant award.
